Democracy

This week QPA will be holding its own election in line with national events. In order to support those affected by the terrorist attacks in Manchester and London, the pupils will take part in a money raising day. They will vote on Thursday to determine what will happen on this day.

We will be making the event as authentic as possible: the party leaders have given their initial speeches; campaigning is under way; ballot slips are being prepared; voting booths are being organised. Which option will win?

Mrs Wilson – ‘Superhero For The Day’

Mrs Huntley – ‘The Great Toy Swap’

Mrs Rowe – ‘Danceathlon Day’

Mrs Williams – ‘Pay To Play’

  1. Brilliant idea. Children need to understand the importance of voting and people can make a difference no matter how young.
    Well done QPA
