Narrative writing

There has been some amazing narrative writing in Year 4 this week. Here is an example of the opening to one story from 4P:

In the middle of her wrinkly face, that was covered in plenty of warts, was a pair of unblinking eyes scanning Kacey as she trembled across the room holding steadily a saucer, spoon and the delicate china cup filled with pure sugared tea. In the upper right corner of the room, next to the slightly opened window, which had beige curtains, was grumpy Grandma slouched in her chair, her back arched and an angry expression on her face.
