We all thoroughly enjoyed today’s assembly led by Robin Harvey, an elite gymnast specialising in trampolining. His 5 top tips provided really thought-provoking, valuable advice:
1. Find a hobby that you love and practise.
2. Work hard.
3. Have fun!
4. Be curious and always willing to learn.
5. Take the opportunities.
This morning’s singing assembly had the added bonus of becoming a staff dance class to highlight how friends work together! The children sang fantastically throughout , as they always do every Tuesday.
We have our first bingo winner in only 2 weeks. What a fantastic achievement to have read 6 full books in this time, very well done!
Even more amazing writing has appeared along the Year 4 corridor. These diaries really step into the world of mountain explorers and are presented with some excellent art.
Our corridor displays are looking refreshed with some more amazing writing. This board showcases Year 3 diary entries.
We had a record number of children collecting a character badge today. Congratulations on your achievements across so many positive character traits.
We have now launched our QPA Reading Bingo challenge. Pupils have to read one book from every category to win a special prize:
- Science Fiction and Fantasy
- Action and Adventure
Pupils in Years 3 and 5 have hundreds of new books in their year groups to enjoy. Years 4 and 6 will be visiting the library to select their choices in order to complete their cards. We are hugely grateful to the PTA for their huge donations towards this scheme – the buzz about reading at QPA is electrifying!
