AFC Bournemouth visit
Our Year Six pupils were treated to an afternoon with members of the AFC Bournemouth community team today. Alongside some professional football coaching, the children learned about road safety, including a session inside a Yellow Bus for part of their afternoon. We even had a famous face from the Premier League team join us – can you spot them?
Show time!
Some of our Year 4 and 5 pupils will be acting in an upcoming production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’, in partnership with The Bishop of Winchester Academy. Tickets are now on sale!
Easter raffle
The hampers have now been prepared and are ready for Monday’s draws. It is not too late to get your tickets to win! Many thanks to the PTA for their creativity and time and to all of our school community for their support.
Gardening
Members of the gardening club went to the local cemetery to support with the improvement of one of the gardens of remembrance this lunchtime. Well done to the children for their hard work and thank you to Mrs Moore for organising the opportunity with Bournemouth council. The children were superb throughout and represented our academy incredibly well.
Sport Relief
Many thanks to everyone for their support towards our fund raising for Sport Relief today. The children are looking suitably red and sporty and we have raised a lot of money towards this worthy cause.
