World War One Day

Today’s timetable in all classes centred about learning about World War One. Pupils in different years discovered a variety of  information, such as how war broke out and stories of specific individuals and events. The children also created a wide variety of poppy themed art.

Mr Moore has created a memorial garden onsite. This will serve not only as a memorial for remembrance but also as a place for quiet reflection for the pupils.

  1. I actually got a little emotional this morning upon seeing the beautiful poppy memorial garden which Mr Moore has so thoughtfully created.
