Year 5 ‘WOW!’

Year 5 held their ‘WOW!’ day today. As well as creating some ‘Day of the Dead’ inspired artwork, the children sampled some food from a Mexican banquet and had a ‘Mathsico!’ interactive performance from a special visitor!

Year 4 WOW!

There were Greeks galore today in Year 4 as the children roared in their new topic ‘Gods and Mortals’, centred around Ancient Greece. As well as making their own olive leaf wreaths, the children rewound time through participating in an Olympic Games and prepared themselves for battle…

Town Sports

Report from Mr Pettefer, Miss Tagg and Mrs Wallis:

The sun shone on the King’s Park stadium at this year’s Town Sports sporting extravaganza. Sixteen pupils were selected to represent QPA in five different disciplines.

Every single member of the team wore their new kit with pride (thank you to our two Year 6 pupils for your key-ring creating endeavours!) and took part fully in the day. From competing in their own events, to supporting their peers and celebrating each other’s successes, they were an absolute credit to the school.

Four of the team secured places in the finals and we came away with one bronze and two silverĀ positions.

We are extremely proud of all the children!
