Congratulations to our new Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy. This year’s selection process required the children to write a letter of interest in the positions, before attending a short interview with Mrs Williams and Mrs Taylor. Everyone who applied for the roles should be extremely proud of themselves; it was incredibly hard to pick from the range of amazing applicants putting themselves forward.
Year 4 had a super residential this week to Carey Camp. They took part in a wide variety of activities, including shelter building, ropes courses, archery, orienteering and tunnelling. They also learned how to sleep and eat outside! Many thanks to the staff for their positivity and dedication throughout the trip and to all of our pupils for their adaptability, optimism, inter-dependence and courage.
The performances of ‘Primary School Christmas Musical’ this week were absolutely fabulous. The school performed this parody of a nativity production amazingly well with everyone singing their hearts out and actors from across the year groups seizing their roles with confidence and vigour. Many thanks to the staff and children for all of their hard work over the last few weeks – it certainly paid off!
