The Year 5 children arrived safely at Hooke Court yesterday and have been having a brilliant time. They have had a very muddy experience in WW1 trenches and enjoyed singing some songs from that era.
The Hooke Court staff have also commented on how well they have all eaten – the clearest plates of any school they have had!
All had a good nights sleep and are thoroughly enjoying the experience.
Our intrepid explorers spent three days and two nights at Carey Camp this week, completing a wide variety of activities and camping under the stars!
Our Year Three pupils had a wonderful time at Leeson House this week. The weather was very kind and allowed all activities to go extremely smoothly. Many thanks to all of the staff who gave up their time to allow for this magical experience for our pupils.
Just one more day left at PGL for the Year 6s! They have been having a magnificent time in the splendid weather, taking part in a huge range of activities: kayaking, rifle shooting, archery, fencing, zip lines, climbing…
Year 4 had a super residential this week to Carey Camp. They took part in a wide variety of activities, including shelter building, ropes courses, archery, orienteering and tunnelling. They also learned how to sleep and eat outside! Many thanks to the staff for their positivity and dedication throughout the trip and to all of our pupils for their adaptability, optimism, inter-dependence and courage.
83 pupils of our Year 3 pupils had a wonderful time at Leeson House this week. Despite the cold, the children took part in all activities with enthusiasm and focus.
Many thanks to the staff team who gave up their free time to enable the visit to happen, particularly to our king of residentials, Mr Murray.
Many of our Year 6 pupils are on their way to PGL. Have a great time one and all – we know that you will!
