Year 5 had their WOW day today. The ‘House of maths’ stimulated the mind and the Mexican feast stimulated the stomach!
Year 6 have the pleasure today of dissecting owl pellets in order to investigate the diet of owls. Many thanks to the Liberty Owl Centre for donating the pellets to us.
Whilst many of our pupils have been at Carey Camp this week, pupils still at school have been taking part in an advertising project. They designed a new sea themed cookie range, baked the cookies and then created their packaging.
Year 4 had a fantastic time at the Sea life centre today. As well as exploring the wide variety of displays and tanks, the children had a guided tour immersing them in the ‘Blue Abyss’.
Year 5 had their wow day for the Egyptian topic today. The Egyptian interactive drama production was very well received and there were some wonderful hieroglyphics painted.
Pupils in Year 5 are enjoying their first recorder session with a specialist music teacher, Mrs Murray. Excellent ensemble playing on the very first day!
